Sunday the 30^th is the New Moon. Time to release everything in your life that does not serve your highest good. Just like manifesting this is a great time to write out your list of things that are not helping you on your path. Let it all go. Burn your list under the New Moon.

Let’s talk a little about Reiki today since it’s been awhile since we’ve gone there.

Did you know that Reiki can be used in non-healing situations? Now most of my clients call me for Reiki sessions to help them either get through something, or physically help with pain. But, Reiki can assist with the process of dying, crossing over, and grieving loved ones.

This weekend I had the chance to see my grandmother who has taken a turn on her path to get her a little closer to home and crossing over. For us the family, this is a hard thing to see and I really have no clue how my mom and her siblings deal with seeing my grandmother almost child-like as she sits on the couch in “the home” speaking of things nobody has any clue of. As I sat at her feet and she held my hands I began to channel Reiki. She had been picking at her hands before I sat down. As she held one hand and played with my ring, I channeled Reiki and held my other hand at her feet. I was pretty shocked as to how strong the flow was and how much energy I was pulling out of her. She soon began to just sit and not fidget so much. My aunt walked in and then grandma took her hands and when I stopped she began to fidget again for a bit but fell asleep and we ended up leaving. 

Dying, Grief, and Reiki 

Reiki can help calm and assist a loved one who is near to their time crossing over. 

Reiki can connect your crossing over loved one with their spirit team to help them cross peacefully and with confidence. Reiki can also help the family through the grief they can feel with the crossing over of their loved one. During some sessions, information can come through from everyone’s guides to help make the transition for the entire family. 

Personally, I have used Reiki to help patients cope with the negative side effects from medications given to fight a disease. I’ve used Reiki to infuse objects with the healing energy that when kept around a patient, help the patient cope with the effects of their terminal disease. I’ve seen the peace Reiki brings to a frightened animal as it crosses over. I’ve used the distance symbol to connect with a pet that was crossing over and was able to give the owner some last instructions from the beloved pet. 

Reiki has taught me some pretty amazing things. I’ve done amazing things through my ongoing studies with Reiki and energy.

Hello All!

What’s going on this week? Let me check the datebook…looks like a whole lot of nothing this week. LOL : )

Okay, well let’s get on with it then. What to talk about this week…I thought about Reiki and infusing it throughout your home. But, I felt like we did that a few weeks ago.

So, how about a mix of things about energy around your home?

This Saturday I spent the day painting one room. Yeah, the day on one room. Then again Sunday morning, doing touch ups on that room. Happy Joy.

Now, I’ve heard of Reiki practitioners using Reiki with their paint. What? Yep, you can attune the paint to Reiki before using it to paint your room. By doing so, it will keep Reiki energy flowing through your space. I’ve been told of a practitioner who crushed up amethyst and mixed the powder into a little paint and then used the paint to paint Reiki symbols in the corners of a room in the house that needed an energy makeover. I plan on drawing Reiki symbols into the four corners of one of my rooms before I paint it, to keep the energy people bring into my house from bringing down the vibes in my house. I’ve also used the power symbol, the grounding symbol, and the symbol for harmony drawn in the air in rooms to clear out lower energy in a room, or to help my kids sleep.

Is your cat doing his business in the house? Well mine did at the old house, and I had to rip out carpet and then bleach the floor in the basement. Then a friend of mine said to draw Reiki symbols over the spots he soiled to keep him from doing it again. She said that Reiki would clear the area of the energy of the cats that were in the house before we were there, and of his energy of going potty there.

Plants:  Plants can’t get enough of Reiki energy so give it to them often! When transplanting my plants I draw the Reiki power symbol in the dirt before putting the plant into the pot. I also like to attune a stone with Reiki energy and then put that stone in the pot with the plant to keep Reiki energy flowing into the plant when the plant needs it. I think it’s the only thing that keeps my plants going, as I’m not great with remembering to water them. (Good thing most are of the cactus family). But, really you should see my Christmas Cactus. Huge!

I also use Reiki when working with my flowers and plants outside. I recently brought over to my house some of my grandmother’s Lily of the Valley, so before I planted them in my yard I drew Reiki symbols into the ground that I had ready for them. Then I channeled Reiki energy to them after I had them all settled into my yard. For the first week, I then channeled Reiki into the water I used to water them with. We will see what happens next year.

Personal products: Kick your skin care up a notch by infusing it with Reiki energy before applying it. That way the product will always work for your highest good. Yeah, I forget to do this so I can’t really tell you long term effects. I get caught up in life like everyone else and forget to do the ideas that I pass along to you here.



 

Okay, you’re thinking, ‘great Wendy, but I’m not a Reiki practitioner and I have no plans on becoming one so how does this apply to me?’ Well, instead of channeling Reiki, use the white light of the Divine. Hold your hands over your plant and then pull down a beam of the Divine white light of the Universe in through your crown chakra, down to your third eye chakra, to your throat chakra, then see it travel down your shoulders, and arms, out the palms of your hands, and into the plant or object you are intending to infuse with energy. Now, you may feel light headed after you’re done, so make sure you ground yourself.

Hi All,

Welcome to another week of Mystic Monday. Let’s kick this week off by going over some dates.

Tuesday August 6^th is the New Moon. Remember the New Moon is for releasing things in your life that no longer serve your highest good. No good boyfriend or girlfriend. Not only did you kick his/her butt to the curb but now you need to kick their energy ties to and this is the night that’s most powerful to cut ties. But, if you are letting go of a loved one remember to do it out of love and not anger. You don’t want that anger karma to come around and bite you in the hind end when you least expect it. Worried about bills or your job? Again, this is the best night to release all that worry and fear for your highest good.

If you are following the Celtic Tree Calendar, Monday August 5^th begins the Month of Hazel. This tree energy will help you connect to Mother Earth and help you with personal growth.

 

 

 

 

Okay, with that out of the way, let’s get on with this Monday’s topic.

Let’s talk Stones and Energy.

If you are going to start working with stones I highly recommend the book, “Love is in the Earth” by Melody. This is one reference book I purchased in 1998 and I can’t live without it because I keep coming back to it for all sorts of information about crystals and stones for healing and energy work. What I love is, the index is broken down by issue or thing that you want to work on and then it lists all the pages that contain stones that can help you with the problem. Now, the other thing I love about this book is she includes your zodiac sign with the stone. So to make the energy more powerful, you look up what you need help with and then make sure the stone is under your birth sign. LOVE IT!

Now, I choose my stones by

1. What it is I’m working on,

2. Is there a color that is related to the issue I’m working on because if there is I will use a stone that is of that color, and

3. How the stone feels when I hold it in my hand. I always recommend you hold stones for a few minutes before you purchase them so you can really get a feel for their energy and make sure it’s a good fit for you. Then I will look to see if the stone falls under my sign. But, I don’t limit my choice of stone based on my sign.

Okay, so what are some things to look for?

Well, let’s work our way through the colors.

Red stones will help you with Root charka issues. Your root chakra helps keep you connecting to the Earth. So grounding your energy, basic survival needs along with feeling secure, family and controlling fear.

Orange stones will help with issues such as reproductive problems, intestinal problems and issues with creativity, just to name a few.

Yellow stones will help with self-esteem and stomach problems, etc.

Green stones will help you with healing your energy and releasing blocks. Because green is associated with the heart chakra, green stones can help with circulatory issues.

Blue stones will help you with communications and speaking your truths. Blue is the color of the throat chakra, so any issues with the throat can be helped with blue stones.

Purple stones will help you connect with your higher-self and wisdom.

White will help you connect with spirit and crown chakra.

Now, I use stones to place on the chakras, coordinating the colors with the charkas. I also use stones in a grid around the body to help during meditations or healings. So start doing some research and find out what it is you need help with and want to use stones with, and then go shopping.

Remember though to clear the stones before you use them.

Hi All,

Let’s start with dates you should know.
Wednesday March 27^th is the Full Moon. This one is also known as the Storm moon. The old saying March comes in like a lion, out like a lamb, relates to this moon. But okay, really I’m sick of seeing the lion this month. How much more snow will there be? The storm moon in March is called such because of the unstable energy of this month as spring tries to break through winters grip on the earth. This year, this seems most fitting as winter just will not let go.    

Don’t forget to manifest this night.  : )

First, I want to pass along that Eucalyptus oil is amazing for sinus problems. I’ve been dealing with sinus congestion for almost a week and burning a eucalyptus in my oil burner has helped me to sleep. However, I had to use lavender oil with it to help me sleep as the eucalyptus although does an amazing job clearing the sinus, it tends to keep me awake.

Now let’s get back to working on ourselves.

A few Mondays ago we started to talk about communicating with the other side. This week I’d like to get back to self-help and moving forward into the new as spring is upon us. Spring is a time for new beginnings. The full moon this week is just in time to help you manifest those new beginnings.

Set your space to ready yourself for meditation. Turn out your lights, light a candle, put calming music on your CD or Ipod. Today we are focusing on your chakras and getting the chakras to be clear and spinning in the right directions at the right speed.

Now if you are not good at visualization it’s okay, just say in your mind what it is you want to happen.

Get comfortable, say your prayer of intent. See a bright white light of the universe beaming down from the clouds and entering your crown chakra. Look at your crown chakra; it is a white ball of light spinning clockwise above your head. Are there any dirty spots on your chakra, is it spinning as it should? If there are, channel a spark of the universal white light into the charka. Watch the spark fly around inside of your chakra cleaning away all the dirt and grime and setting it to spin as it is now normal and healthy.

Go down to the next chakra, your third eye. The third eye is purple in color and should shine brightly. Once again look for any dirty or spots of grime. Send a spark of the universal white light into the chakra to clean all the nasty stuff away and set it spinning healthy.

Repeat these steps for all the chakras. Throat chakra is blue, heart chakra is pink or green, solar plexus is yellow, sacral is orange and then the root chakra is red. When you are finished draw the universal white light in through your crown chakra down through every chakra and through your feet grounding it. When you are finished and if you feel light headed, ground your energy into Mother Earth. Say a prayer of thanks to close your session. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Great work!

Happy Mystic Monday! Happy Birthday, to my youngest son, Jeremy, who turns 11 today. Crazy right!

March 18^th is the start of the Celtic Tree month of Alder. Alder can assist you in accessing the faery realms. Alder will also assist your creativity and success in business.

March 20^th is Spring Equinox or Ostara

The Easter Bunny and eggs ~ guess where they started, symbols of the Goddess. This is the time of the wheel of the year when daylight takes over the night. The winter gives way to the spring and new life and beginnings come about. Take this day to reflect on what it is you want to come into your life and make it happen. New project ideas, this is the time to make them happen. Open the doors being offered and walk through them. 

Did you do your ritual on the New Moon? If you did, you should be manifesting every day until the Full Moon when manifesting energy is at its highest. So, work that list you have 5 minutes or so every day. If you practice Reiki, send Reiki to your list for an added kick. Nemeton Energy System practitioners use your tree and Mother Earth energies to help your manifesting come into being. 

Christians have lent. A time when they give up something that is a habit or something they’d like to change. I used to give up pop or candy. This year I thought I’d try something a little different. For Ostara, I’ve decided that I’m going to get back into the habit of taking care of myself. I need to get back into the swing of self-healings, using Nemeton Energy System and Reiki or a combo of the two. If you aren’t attuned to the energy of Reiki or you haven’t studied Nemeton Energy System, no big deal, you can still do self-healings. Just channel the universal white light or the Divine light. It’s easy. Just ask your angels and guides for help. Basically you are going to visualize the universal white light that comes down from the heavens and enters your body through your crown charka. See it then going through each and every chakra and exiting through your root chakra. Once you do this you may need to ground your energy. So see yourself sitting with your favorite tree. Leaning up against it let the tree take the extra energy away from your body and ground it into mother earth. Another way is to picture yourself as a tree with your branches stretching up to the heavens and your roots going as deep into mother earth as far as you are tall. Then send your energy into mother earth so she can take and recycle the energy.

Hi All,

I cannot believe it’s October already! Wow!

Ok, Savannah and I were talking about what to write about today because I’ve been busy this weekend with a tweaking of the Nemeton Energy System manual and I’m also working on a book.

So we were kicking around some ideas and I think I’m going to go with reading Angel Cards because I tend to share stories and well I have one from this weekend.

Doing what I do, I can read on the “fly” as we say, or use Angel cards to read for my clients or myself. Now I will say reading for myself is a bit hard because I am emotionally invested in the problem or guidance I seek. Angel cards are a tool that gives the client something tangible to see while I share the information I receive from the other side.

Let's back up. What are Angel Cards? Angel cards are decks of inspirational cards that Doreen Virtue has come up with to help people communicate with their angels. These cards have little meanings attached to them with beautiful artwork of angels. Each deck comes with a small book describing the card and the message associated with it. There are different types of decks that Doreen Virtue has out there. I have the Goddess deck, Healing with the Angels and one other that just has too many words on the cards so I don’t use them much.

Unlike Tarot cards Angel cards do not have a negative meaning. Most are positive or about the lesson you are learning.

When I do a reading for someone, I have them think of a question they want guidance for, while they shuffle the cards for as long as they want. When they are done I spread the cards out. Once the cards are spread out I ask the client to pick five. Then I turn the cards over and we discuss the cards and from there, messages that come through.

Now it’s my job to speak the message from the angels, spirit guides, or crossed over loved ones and not judge it.

This weekend I had something happen that really took the wind out of my sails Friday night. By Saturday, I was pretty down in the dumps because the event that took place on Friday, even though I kinda saw it coming and I had been advised by a few readers prior that it would blow over and things would be great, came to a halt and a parting of ways. So Saturday night, to pull myself up and clear my energy out and manifest—because you can't waste a good harvest moon over a little depression and self-pity—I started to set the area up by burning some clearing oils a friend from the expos I do, made. That helped release a bunch of crap. I could feel a change in the energy already.

So then I sat to say my prayer of intent and then read off my list to manifest for the night. After giving up my list of wants to the full moon and the Universe, I figured I’d do a reading. Ok so now I’m emotional so reading is probably going to be way off because when you’re attached to what you are reading for you may not read correctly.

Well I had cards come up that just didn’t seem right, but then I did something I rarely do and picked up the book to read the description of the card. I found out the description gave me better guidance than the cards. I looked at the one word title on the cards and understood the one like Forgiveness, Surrender and Release, Blessings and Abundance, but Serenity? Really? How the crap do you feel Serenity when your mind is going 100 mph and you can’t wrap your head around what just happened to make you feel so crappy. Really? What the heck are the guides thinking with this one or any of these? How are these the guidance I’m asking for? Ok forgive the person got it, release it not easy but, ok, blessings what? and abundance? Forgiveness isn't forgiving the situation, it’s forgiving the person and not the action. Instead you say, “I am no longer willing to carry around the pain caused by your actions”. Ok, that spoke volumes to me.

Then I moved onto Surrender and Release which to me means cut ties and give it to the angels to figure out. But I read the book and it said to “Let it go. Ask God and the angels to help you. Everything you release that no longer serves you will be healed and returned to you or replaced with something better.” Well Ok that was a HUGE eye opener. I mean you hear it from your healers but this was one of those ‘ah ha’ moments.

Serenity- The mistake people make is you don’t have to wait to have a problem free life to be happy. First you work towards happiness and peace then your life challenges occur less frequently and disappear.

So the guidance I received from that reading was to forgive the person but to stand strong from the situation. Give the situation over to the angels and God to either heal and return it or to make room for better.

That was the big one all together and the last one of Serenity was to figure out what really makes me happy.

Then a strange thing happened, a healer friend of mine sent a small post which was a total pick me up on Sunday and she had no idea what I was going through and how badly I needed to hear what she posted. The angels were giving another sign I think, keep moving forward and it will fall into place. So with today's blog I move forward.

I encourage you to go purchase a set of angel cards if you are feeling it’s right for you to do and go with your gut for the meaning but then as I have learned check it if you think “what the crap?”

How many of you remembered to use the energy of the full moon Saturday to manifest? I did but I did in a different way because the boys had friends over and I didn’t want to carry my supplies out to the deck and chance one of them seeing me. So I kept to my space and manifested inside.

HALLOWEEN IS COMING!! Oh Yeah! We will be talking about that in upcoming Mondays. A little history, a little where does it fall on the Wheel of the Year, the Veil between worlds and all that good stuff. I will also have stories later on from the ghost tours in Stevens Point at the end of the month. I am also super excited to be doing a party at Savannah’s house.
