About the author:

Robin Renee Ray is known as a multi-genre author. She's only been writing for four and a half years, but has come to love everything about the world of being a novelist. She began in the paranormal romance genre, then jumped into horror, then right on into suspense thrillers. Fifteen novels and numerous short stories later, she is well on her way! She resides in Southern New Mexico with her husband, David, and is very close to her two granddaughters.

"I love being a writer almost as much as I love being a grandmother!"

"I have a fondness for playing in cemeteries, taking as many photos as my camera will allow. I also enjoy seeking out old and rumored 'haunted houses'...hoping to find the unknown, but more or less proving it's just an old house. ;) I truly enjoy creating short horror stories from the fun that I have had in odd and unusual places, adding loads of fantasy/dark fiction as I go along."

"Have a great day...Big Hugs~"

A little something about Bloodbreeders: Seeking Others

Many things had come to pass long before our journey began, and we knew the time had come to seek for others. The wicked ways of the Bloodbreeders had to be stopped even if it meant that we would breathe our last breath in our efforts to make that happen. For centuries many had endured unspeakable acts and heinous torture at the hands of those they were forced to call “Master”. I was not one who could sit by and watch it continue. Not if I could do something to bring this madness down. Abducted myself, not long after I was brought into this world of darkness, I fortunately fared better than most and did not witness years of abuse as the others had and used that to my advantage. Now I had gathered a small group who would follow me into hell itself to see the Bloodbreeder world change and change for the good of all. Even if it meant we had to travel the world killing the wicked to set the innocent free…no matter who may die along the way.

A little something from Bloodbreeders: Seeking Others

All the males went out to put Gilbert on the cross, who I now found to be as loopy as a backwards misfit, with a taste of perversion. Tammy and I stayed and started searching through his files, in a room we found on the first floor. Tammy found one file that dated his experiment all the way back 1865, and the ledger was completely full of marks, which to me appeared to be the number of victims that went through his lab. This creature was nothing like us. On the contrary he was the worst of the lot, at least so far, I should say. Not only did he take life, he reanimated it. How I don’t know and I don’t care to find out. Even though I knew that I was also a form of the walking dead.
“Look at this, Renee. This file is on a girl. It says she had a decrease in the size of her eye teeth…her fangs. Think he’s full it?”
“I wish he wasn’t.”
“Want to be normal again?”
“No, it’s too late to go back now, but Johnny,” I paused. “I just can’t see him
being in a four year old body throughout his life span.”
“Then why take Gilbert’s life? He could be on to something.”
“You’re holding the files, Tammy. He’s sick and can’t be allowed to carry on with this sort of thing. He’s been using normals and getting them anywhere he can.”
“I know what you mean, but…”
“No buts about it…He dies!”
I left the room and started down the hall to go through another room in his home. I opened a door to a bedroom that looked normal enough, so I closed it and went to another. I found pretty much the same thing, nothing that was of any concern to us. I decided to go up stairs. There was the dim glow coming from the lights downstairs, casting shadows in every corner, and making me see things that weren’t there. I walked up to the first room and tried to turn the knob, but it was locked, so I went across the hall and tried that door, which opened as

Mystic Monday

Hi All,
Let’s start with dates you should know.
Wednesday March 27th is the Full Moon. This one is also known as the Storm moon. The old saying March comes in like a lion, out like a lamb, relates to this moon. But okay, really I’m sick of seeing the lion this month. How much more snow will there be? The storm moon in March is called such because of the unstable energy of this month as spring tries to break through winters grip on the earth. This year, this seems most fitting as winter just will not let go.

Don’t forget to manifest this night.  : )

First, I want to pass along that Eucalyptus oil is amazing for sinus problems. I’ve been dealing with sinus congestion for almost a week and burning a eucalyptus in my oil burner has helped me to sleep. However, I had to use lavender oil with it to help me sleep as the eucalyptus although does an amazing job clearing the sinus, it tends to keep me awake.

Now let’s get back to working on ourselves.

A few Mondays ago we started to talk about communicating with the other side. This week I’d like to get back to self-help and moving forward into the new as spring is upon us. Spring is a time for new beginnings. The full moon this week is just in time to help you manifest those new beginnings.

Set your space to ready yourself for meditation. Turn out your lights, light a candle, put calming music on your CD or Ipod. Today we are focusing on your chakras and getting the chakras to be clear and spinning in the right directions at the right speed.
Now if you are not good at visualization it’s okay, just say in your mind what it is you want to happen.

Get comfortable, say your prayer of intent. See a bright white light of the universe beaming down from the clouds and entering your crown chakra. Look at your crown chakra; it is a white ball of light spinning clockwise above your head. Are there any dirty spots on your chakra, is it spinning as it should? If there are, channel a spark of the universal white light into the charka. Watch the spark fly around inside of your chakra cleaning away all the dirt and grime and setting it to spin as it is now normal and healthy.

Go down to the next chakra, your third eye. The third eye is purple in color and should shine brightly. Once again look for any dirty or spots of grime. Send a spark of the universal white light into the chakra to clean all the nasty stuff away and set it spinning healthy.
Repeat these steps for all the chakras. Throat chakra is blue, heart chakra is pink or green, solar plexus is yellow, sacral is orange and then the root chakra is red. When you are finished draw the universal white light in through your crown chakra down through every chakra and through your feet grounding it. When you are finished and if you feel light headed, ground your energy into Mother Earth. Say a prayer of thanks to close your session. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Great work!

If you would like to learn Reiki and have a few friends that would like to learn as well, I will travel to teach in person classes. I also teach Reiki via distance learning. Please contact me if you have questions, intuitivewendy@me.com is my email.

Mystic Monday

Happy Mystic Monday! Happy Birthday, to my youngest son, Jeremy, who turns 11 today. Crazy right!

March 18th is the start of the Celtic Tree month of Alder. Alder can assist you in accessing the faery realms. Alder will also assist your creativity and success in business.

March 20th is Spring Equinox or Ostara

The Easter Bunny and eggs ~ guess where they started, symbols of the Goddess. This is the time of the wheel of the year when daylight takes over the night. The winter gives way to the spring and new life and beginnings come about. Take this day to reflect on what it is you want to come into your life and make it happen. New project ideas, this is the time to make them happen. Open the doors being offered and walk through them.

Did you do your ritual on the New Moon? If you did, you should be manifesting every day until the Full Moon when manifesting energy is at its highest. So, work that list you have 5 minutes or so every day. If you practice Reiki, send Reiki to your list for an added kick. Nemeton Energy System practitioners use your tree and Mother Earth energies to help your manifesting come into being.

Christians have lent. A time when they give up something that is a habit or something they’d like to change. I used to give up pop or candy. This year I thought I’d try something a little different. For Ostara, I’ve decided that I’m going to get back into the habit of taking care of myself. I need to get back into the swing of self-healings, using Nemeton Energy System and Reiki or a combo of the two. If you aren’t attuned to the energy of Reiki or you haven’t studied Nemeton Energy System, no big deal, you can still do self-healings. Just channel the universal white light or the Divine light. It’s easy. Just ask your angels and guides for help. Basically you are going to visualize the universal white light that comes down from the heavens and enters your body through your crown charka. See it then going through each and every chakra and exiting through your root chakra. Once you do this you may need to ground your energy. So see yourself sitting with your favorite tree. Leaning up against it let the tree take the extra energy away from your body and ground it into mother earth. Another way is to picture yourself as a tree with your branches stretching up to the heavens and your roots going as deep into mother earth as far as you are tall. Then send your energy into mother earth so she can take and recycle the energy.

Good luck all!

Many Blessings All,
Wendy

To Be Continued...with Robin Renee Ray

When the Night Falls

By

Robin Renee Ray

Part Six

Sitting back in his homemade wooden chair on his front porch, Ed Kenney savored the aroma coming from the house and knew his meal would be ready soon. He lit his pipe and leaned back, looking out over his land, land he would and had killed for to keep safe. His grandfather had been given permission to make the land his own as long as no one trespassed on the sacred grounds that lay across the running waters of the creek. Ed’s father was the first to try and stop the small town from being built, but he died the year the settlers moved their wagon train in.
“Supper’s ready, Paw,” Sarah stepped out the door. “Weren’t able to make no bread though. When ya figure we’ll be makin’ a run to the tradin’ post?”
“I speck we’ll have to make due, sister. It’s gonna be snowing real soon and gettin’ over the back side of the mountain wouldn’t be too easy.”
“Couldn’t Jake and Teddy make it like they did last year? Coffee’s dern near gone and you have about a half a bag of pipe tobacco.”
“Need Teddy here, I think we all know that those town folk are gonna be startin’ some kind of trouble. Won’t be long till they know we snagged that Baxter boy.” Ed tapped his pipe on the arm of his chair and stuck in his pocket. He stood and stretched his back. “We best get on in before your aunt comes in hollerin’ she’s been workin’ on the meal for a few hours.”
Ed’s youngest son, Billy, was putting wood on the fireplace in the main family room. His other sons were already sitting at the oblong, oak, handmade table that sat ten. Teddy was standing by the wood burning stove watching his wife dip out ladles full of the chunky meat that was mixed with chopped up carrots and potatoes. Milly was filling glasses with milk from one of several milk cows they had raised on the lush greenery that grew on their land.
Ed took his seat at the head of the table. When Teddy heard the chair slide on the floor he turned around and quickly took his seat at the opposite end. “Get on in here Billy and wash your hands for supper,” Ed called out, picking up his tin cup and taking a drink of his warm milk.
          “Not really hungry, Paw.”
“We done been through this, boy.”
“I know, Paw, but it just don’t feel right and I can’t help but to get sick to my stomach.”
“Don’t bother me none,” Milly interjected as she took her seat to her father right. “Meat is meat if’n ya ask me.”
“I don’t recall anyone askin’ ya,” Billy said as he turned to go back to the fireplace.
“Boy!” Ed spoke harshly. “I’ll not be tellin’ you again.”
Billy stopped and stood with his back to the room for a few seconds, then slowly turned and made his way to the table and took the seat as far from his father as he could get and sat by his Uncle Teddy. “I think we should all bow our heads and give thanks.” Billy cringed at his Aunt Edna’s words as she set his bowl of human stew in front of him. He couldn’t tell by looking that it wasn’t beef, it didn’t have a different smell than any other stew she had made which brought another question to his mind. “Why can’t we just butcher one of the cows? We have a bull and three cows.”
“They’ll be breading soon and we can hope for a good take. But son if we butcher even one we may not survive if what’s left don’t take to the matin’. We butcher that old bull when he still has some use in him and we might as well pack up and move on right now.”
“Billy, just eat what’s be given and stop the complainin’.”
“You ain’t my paw, Dex and if you want it so damn bad you eat it,” Billy slid the bowl over sloshing the liquid over the edge.
“Boy, you don’t close that mouth and eat your supper, you’ll be the one sleeping in the barn tonight. After I tan your hide,” Ed threatened then picked up his wooden carved spoon.
“Ed, we haven’t said grace yet,” Aunt Edna reprimanded.
She stood as Ed set the spoon back down and all lowered their heads. After a few words of thanks were said everyone around the table began filling their mouths and eating without thought or care, everyone except Billy who was sipping the broth and eating just the vegetables.
Meanwhile, John was lying on the table, waking from the drugs that the woman who was called ‘Aunt Edna’, had given him. He had no way of knowing how much time had passed, but knew it was night due to the darkness, he just didn’t know how late. Raising his head and looking down at his stomach he could see the tube sticking out, that’s when he noticed that the restraints around his wrist seem to be moving more than they had when he had been hanging upside down. He remembered seeing Sam’s hands free as he lay on the ground while the woman took his life, so he could only imagine that they had redone his bindings as well.
While trying to pull his hands free, John heard the smaller door on the barn creak and froze hoping he wasn’t seen and could pretend to still be under the influence of the drugs.

BLOODBREEDERS: SEEKING OTHERS,
the third book in the Bloodbreeders series by Robin Renee Ray

Read how it all began…

Not once in her life did farm girl Renee Crocker, imagine she would encounter a world found only in the minds of myth-seeking men. Although the things they sought were not always unheard of in the 1930’s in other parts of the world, life was just too harsh in the small Texas community, to pay mind to anything other than raising a healthy crop to ensure the survival of one’s family. But late one evening during supper, a stranger comes knocking on the door of the Crocker family farm house and is invited inside.

It doesn’t take long for Renee to discover a great number of things that people in her neck of the woods couldn’t even contemplate. The dark of night takes on a whole new meaning, and the once vulnerable young country woman finds herself struggling to survive in a world that demands she live forever in darkness.

Renee thought she had gone through the worse nightmare that any being could possibly dream up; little did she know that her adventure had just begun. Her intentions were to go back to Cuba and fulfill a promise made to the two that helped her escape the unbelievable hell that had become her life from the days of loving care back on the farm.

What she finds changes her destiny and places her path on one that was only found in the mind and tales of the ancient profits. Of course, the question remains, will she be able to fulfill the needs that have taken hold of what little heart she had left? Can the faith of a country girl with the help of those who would follow her into hell itself be enough, or will they find themselves in a situation that they cannot get out of?

Mystic Monday

Hi All,

Today is the New Moon. What does that mean?  It means you need to do a ritual about letting things go that do not serve you any longer. So instead of writing down everything you want in your life, it’s time to spell out everything that is weighing you down and no longer serves your highest good. Then just as you would your manifesting list, burn your list of everything that no longer serves you under the new moon.
I usually burn my list in a small cauldron and then scatter the ashes around the tree in the back yard. Good luck!

Here are some other dates:  Saturday the 23rd I’ll be at the Mead Hotel in Wisconsin Rapids, WI for an Expo. I’ll be there from 9am to 5pm.

Wednesday the 27th is the full moon. Write out your list for manifesting what you want in to attract into your life!

Friday the 29th is Good Friday.

Easter Sunday is the 31st.

That will take us into April.

Sorry this blog is short this week. I wanted to write about our latest investigation but the staff hasn’t been informed of our findings as of yet. We are still going through evidence.

Have a great week.
Blessings All,
Wendy
