Mystic Monday

Hi All and Blessings,

I couldn't think of what to blog about then it came to me…Meditation. We touched on it last week.

What a subject to cover in a small blog, but let's tackle it and see what happens! Maybe there will be another blog about it as questions come up.

This weekend I was at the Shell Lake BodyLabUSA event. While at my booth setting up for healings and readings, a woman came to me about meditation and how to.

She said "Wendy, you know I just can't stay sitting and still long enough to get into a meditation. Is that ok?"  Heck yes it is. We all have different styles of what works and what doesn't work for us. There is no right or wrong way of doing.

With that said let’s explore this shall we. Mediation is something you are going to have to experiment with. Last week we talked about creating a space.

So here is your Meditation assignment.

Figure out how you meditate. Now you can sit in your space with music on and candle lit, sitting with your eyes closed and doing a visual meditation, or you can busy your body if you just can't sit still. To busy your body to let your mind open up is easy. Just find something for your body to do as you check out mentally. Jump on the treadmill and run or walk while you open your mind for meditation if you can sit still. Your style of meditation doesn't matter, what matters is what you are achieving through your mediations. Your goal is to relax and get in contact with your higher self.

Try this meditation to see what works for you.

Rainbow Meditation.

This meditation will help center and ground you by bringing in all the colors of the rainbow through your chakras.

Get comfortable.

Set up your space.

Close your eyes and center. Breathe.

Take three deep breaths in through the nose and out the mouth.

The first thing I want you to do is visualize a white light from the universe coming down in a beam into your crown chakra (head) and going through your body (down your spine) and out your feet into Mother Earth.

Take a deep breath and relax and now do the same for the color red, yellow, orange, green, blue and indigo. Take a deep breath between each color and relax.

Now once you get to the last color. Deep breathe in and release. Then I want you to take note as to how you feel. If you feel light headed then I want you to ground.

Drink plenty of water after this mediation, as it will get your energy flowing and balance your chakras.
