Laugh It Up Tuesday!

No matter what our differences are, there is one thing we have in common and all use daily…

Toilet paper!

Last week I was talking to my BFF Dawn, you know, just girl talk, and we were talking about the economy. I made the comment that, no matter how much I need to tighten the household budget, I refuse to give up my coffee and a decent toilet paper! LOL Well, that just prompted a ten minute (or longer) discussion on what the heck is going on with toilet paper these days?!

Seriously, I’ve used the “cheaper” brands in the past, and they had done the job just fine, but recently I’ve noticed that most of them are now just crap—no pun intended. J
Although they say 2 ply, some are so bad they fall apart in use, or you have to use so much you’re not saving a single penny because you’re using twice the amount.

Then there are the “name brands” that although they are “stronger” as Dawn put it, and I quote, “it’s like wiping with a pillow.” Some are so thick that what should seem like a reasonable, flushable amount to use still plugs up the friggin’ toilet! What happened to the happy medium?

As a consumer, all I want is an affordable toilet paper that doesn’t fall apart in my hand! I mean really, if they can make M & M’s that melt in your mouth, not in your hand, is it too much to ask the same from the toilet paper manufactures?
See, BFF’s really do talk about everything and anything! J
For the record my household uses Cottonelle and Dawn uses Scott brand T.P.

What do you use? Inquiring minds want to know! LOL

          Have a wonderful day!

  1. That spider picture always gets me. I have to just stare at it, like a car wreck.

We use the recycled kind, like Seventh Generation. It's more expensive, but that's just how we roll (bwahaha).

    1. Dang it, and I was gonna post the John Wayne TP picture too! LOL When I told Dawn I was doing this weeks blog about TP, she laughed, I don't think she thought I was serious... ok maybe she did, she knows me too well! Dawn was also responsible for the "red solo cup" blog! I love that I can count on my BFF to help me out, even if it's just random conversation that sparks a new blog idea! Robin has also given me ideas in the past... so be careful talking to me, you just never know when it could end up in a blog : )
