Mystic Monday's

             Hi All,
Ok let’s switch directions for a week and talk about the Archangels. That will give you another week to work on your meditations. J
One of the teachings I hold on to from being raised Catholic is the belief in Angels. The other is Mother Mary. (Which we may touch on in a later blog. Goddess?)
Everyone has an angel to guide them. Some people attract angels and have many that surround them. Some of us work with angels along with our guides. And then there are some of us that call on the "big guns", the Archangels  regularly to help with protection and healing. Angels are our messengers from God. They help keep us on our paths and guide us through life. They also hear our prayers and take our issues to the creator. The only rule they follow is this:  they cannot help or intervene unless you ask. So Ask!  They don't mind and nothing is too small for them to help with. Ok, now if you're wondering, I'm going to answer this. Archangels and angels have no space restrictions so you can ask Archangel Michael for help and he can be helping others around the world at the same time. So again, ASK for HELP!!  You can't get what you don't ask for.
There are 7 Archangels
Archangel Michael, who I call on for protection nightly and during ghost investigations, is one of my favorites. He also helps with taking away your fears, and giving you courage.

Michael’s name means "He who is like God". Archangel is the Patron Saint of those who protect.

           Archangel Jophiel

Jophiel 's name means "beauty of God". Josphiel is the Patron saint of Artists. Jophiel will help you awaken and gain wisdom. Call on Josphiel to help you see the inner beauty of people. Josphiel will also help you with being creative. Work with Jophiel to help you connect with your higher self and the wisdom gained from the work you will do to awaken your spirit.

    Archangel Chamuel

Chamuel is associated with unconditional love. Call on Chamuel to help you with love issues and relationships. Chamuel can help you move past a broken heart and work through grieving. Do not be affraid to call on Chamuel to help you through any kind of separations with your loved ones. (Divorce, death,)

       Archangel Gabriel

Gabriel's name means "God is my strength". She is the angel of messages and communications. Call on Gabriel if your third eye is closed and you wish help with hearing your messages from your angels and guides.

     Archangel Raphael

Raphael's name means "God has healed". He is the Archangel of healing and is patron of the healers of the world. I call on archangel Raphael frequently when doing self- healings and when with clients. He has this amazing green energy.

    Archangel Uriel

Uriel's name means "Light of God". Uriel is the angel of peace and tranquility. If you need help finding your inner peace, call on him. If you need peace brought to a situation or your living space again nothing is too small for Uriel to help.

       Archangel Zadekiel

Zadekiel's name means "Righteousness of God". He is the archangel of forgiveness, mercy and tolerance. Call on him to help you heal negative energy.

There are other Archangels as well, and we can cover them in another blog.
To increase the angels around you and have experiences with angels, first you have to ask. Then you need to start raising your vibrations and getting rid of negativity.
Play uplifting music. Classical and spiritual music attracts angels.
Clear yourself and your environment. Clear your energy daily. Do charka clearing meditations and cut your cords. There is nothing more negative then dragging other peoples crap around with you. Create your sacred space.
The one thing I want you to take away from this blog is they can't help if you don't ask for help. Ask!  Practice asking for help. I like to ask for front row parking. Try it and see.
Doreen Virtue writes some great books that are easy to read about angels and communicating with angels. Silver Ravenwolf writes Angels Companions in Magick.
I believe Ted Andrews book about communicating with your Spirit Guides has a section on Angels as well.

 Have a great week!
Many blessings all,

Perfect story for an Autumn night! April 22, 2012 5.0 out of 5 stars

Autumn is an eerie time of the year, with the year winding down, Halloween, falling leaves... who would have the thought that the last could be the most sinister? A pair of twins go outside to play in the leaves, and only one comes back!

This story follows Steven as he tries to go on with his life after losing his twin brother. Many years later, he still lives in the same house with his mother. They have been joined by Steven's wife and young daughter. Like all young children, Steven's daughter Skye wants to go out and play in the falling leaves. But, Steven knows what happened really to his long lost brother, and does not want the same fate to befall his daughter. When Skye wanders outside one night in search of a toy, history begins to repeat itself, and Steven is in danger of losing his daughter, too.

This was an eerie, well-written short story, and is highly recommended!

This was a quick read, shorter than I had expected. It was well written and kept me interested and worried what would happen the entire time. Almost has a twilight zone feel to it. I wanted more and look forward to reading more from this author.

This is one of those stories that once you start, you can't put it down until your finished. A unique tale that will have you wanting more from this talented author. Seemingly innocently playing in the autumn leaves, Stephen and K.C. experience a spine tingling event that changes all of their lives forever. I can say you won't catch me playing in the leaves ever again!

One out-standing read!!!, February 13, 2012

Savannah Rayne 'leaves' the lights on for what some would think, a charming little tale. One of children playing in the Fall of nature watching the foliage tumbling down after. What could be so chilling indeed, with two little boys frolicking around the backyard trees. Ms. Rayne will have you asking as you venture through this amazing creation of twist and turns, what is coming around the corner? But this is without a doubt one read you will not figure it out!!!

Absolutely wonderful read to add to your collection. I look forward to seeing what Ms. Rayne has in store for us, she is a very talented novelist.

This book hooked me right from the beginning, and I couldn't put it down till I finished. Excellent read, and highly recommended. Fast paced, and griping. You'll never look at the leaves of autumn the same way again. Heck, you'll never catch me playing in a leaf pile again!

By Jennifer Gunn "J. Gunn" (Missouri, USA) -

Who would have thought the fall season would become so dangerous? Stephen and his brother KC never thought so either. But Stephen grows up despising fall and for good reason. How did he lose his twin and how does this tale end, go read it and find out, you won't be disappointed.

***When It Leaves is a mild horror story…creepiness being the main ingredient. I have taken an innocent childhood pastime and turned it into something you will second guess each autumn as the leaves swirl around your feet. Adults have found When It Leaves to be written in such a way that it is able to give the mature reader a creep factor while holding their attention, but that it doesn’t push the horror element to its ultimate limits. I feel it is also suitable for those who have may be looking to enter the world of literary horror one creepy page at a time.
~ Savannah Rayne
“K.C., I wanna go,” Steven turned towards K.C. to try to convince his brother to stop with the idea of being buried, when he saw something that made him stop talking mid-sentence and halt his footsteps. Where K.C. was lying on the ground, the leaves began to swirl in a large spiral. They lifted into the air, picking up in speed and quantity. The buzzing noise became louder, the high pitch was starting to hurt Steven’s ears. He watched spell bound as the vegetation lifted higher and higher, forming what looked like a tornado made of leaves to the five year old. The dead, autumn foliage that was covering K.C. seemed to come to life at the base of the leafy twister. The swirling mass was spinning so fast, just watching it was making him dizzy. Steven wanted to run but was frozen with fear, unable to move or scream for help.

Then he saw something that would give him nightmares for years to come. The leaves that had been covering K.C. were sucked up into the rapidly spinning leafy tornado, until the ground below was bare. Steven’s eyes were wide with terror. He opened his mouth and screamed but the buzzing was so loud, his voice seemed silent in the night. He stood there releasing scream after scream, watching the tornadic leaves spin faster and faster. His heart was racing, his head was spinning and he was starting to feel sick to his stomach. Yet Steven was oblivious to what his body was trying to tell him—to warn him. His focus was on one thing and one thing only, the ground below the twister was empty. K.C. was gone…vanished…disappeared.

Thirsty Thursday!

I thought today I would share with you some of my favorite bar tenders. Let me know if you agree or hey, let me know who you would have listed!

You gotta love Brian Flanagan (Tom Cruise) and Doug Coughlin (Bryan Brown) from the 1988 movie Cocktail

Then there are the ladies from the 2000 movie Coyote Ugly

And don’t forget the “pay-back” J

And going way back to 1977-1986 remember Isaac Washington (Ted Lange) from The Love Boat

And I’m sure everyone remembers Cheers 1982-1993 with Sam Malone (Ted Danson)

And the creepiest bar tender of all-time— Lloyd (Joe Turkel) who mixed the drinks at the Overlook Hotel in The Shining

Let me know who your favorites are…
