Coffee with Savannah

Coffee with Savannah…now there’s a novel idea! As I got my first cup of coffee this morning the thought occurred to me, when was the last time I sat and drank a cup of coffee and did nothing else but that? Even today, with my first cup sitting next to me, I’m typing this blog post! I pause, reach for my mug, take a drink, set it back done and begin typing again!

But today I thought I’d catch you up on what’s going on in my crazy, busy world…

I just completed editing and copy editing a few stories that have been recently released. These works are amazing and written by some of the most talented writers out there.

Right now I’m editing a story that is near and dear to my heart. First it’s because the author’s series has become my personal favorite of all time; second, she has become a close friend to me, more like a sister. Working so closely with her is a lot of fun, and doesn’t even feel like work at all. I love what I do!

I’m also helping my cousin Wendy put together her book, and she has come up with a brilliant idea for another as well! Again, really more fun than work.

And don’t forget I have my ‘day-job’ with the kiddo’s.

Now somewhere in all this I am supposed to find time to write myself! I’m hoping that by the end of next week I will be able to start working to finish things up with Words of an Angel. So many readers have asked when this book is coming out, and all I can say is very, very soon. It’s been on my plate way too long and that’s my fault. Some personal things got in the way of getting this story ready to be released. Now I’m chomping at the bit to get it out there! And trust me, it will be happening soon!

Once that is done, I will dust off some of my WIP’s and start working on those. Next I think I will work on a little creepy story called Spirit Board, and then maybe a new story that came to me over the weekend, lol. Yeah, I’m always coming up with new ideas. However this new idea, involves something most women really love—a bad boy. Also on my list to get out this year is, Whispering Breezes ~ the prequel to When It Leaves. There’s several other romance and horror manuscripts I have started, that are begging to be finished. I just need to figure out which to complete first. Unless of course a new brilliant idea comes to mind, lol.

My muse has really been smacking me upside the head lately, jumping up and down screaming WRITE WOMAN WRITE! But, with other priorities and deadlines to meet, she will just have to wait a wee bit longer.

I want to thank all of you for being patient with me and hanging in there and waiting for me to get my next story out. I promise you it won’t be much longer and I’m really hoping you’ll say it was worth the wait. And with any luck, this year there will be quite a few new releases from Savannah Rayne.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I am going to get me another cup of coffee, and sit for the next 15 minutes and enjoy it before I begin another crazy bust day!
