More Than Love

Happy Friday everyone!

With Valentines Day falling on a Tuesday this year, I’m sure that there will be more than just a few, celebrating the lover’s holiday over the weekend.

Although it is wonderful to have a “special” day designated to showing the one you love just how much they mean to you, don’t you think it would be nice to show them that every day? Whoa...don’t get all excited there bucko, I know you may be sitting there doing the “but I do show him/her how much I love them every day” and to those of you that truly do, I applaud you! But sadly most only get chocolates, flowers and a sweet “I Love You” card on this one day a year.

My thoughts, for those that are guilty of the February 14^th “today I’ll show you I love you” syndrome, try just once or twice throughout the rest of this year to do that “unexpected” thing to show the love of your life just how much you do love them.

Send the flowers for no reason other than to make them smile. Slip a sweet card into his lunch or her purse, to find later in the day. A small note in a dresser drawer…Bring home chocolate to share while sitting and talking. I know simple ideas, yet they can mean so much more than whatever it is you have planned for that “one” day of the year.
