Happy Halloween Everyone!

As you all know tonight is the night the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest.

You may or may not experience visitors from the other side.

 I have some Halloween advice:

Never play with that which you don't understand. You may let through negative energies that you don't intend on letting through.

This is not a night you should start practicing Witchcraft if you do not have a strong background in working with the other side. Also, not a good night to be working with communicating or any other spell work or whatever it is you may want to try.

For this reason I strongly suggest never fooling around with Ouija Boards. Ouija Boards some say are a game because you can find them along with board games at the local store. Ouija Boards I believe are not something you should ever use. Why? Because they invite lower energies into our world to communicate, stay and wreak havoc in your home and life. That is my belief. Everyone vibrates on different levels. Things such as depression, alcohol and drugs (just to name a few) can lower your vibrations. Negative energy vibrates lower then positive energy. You want to keep your vibrations high so that negative energy cannot affect you. If you are fooling around with the Ouija Board you are using a low energy tool which invites lower energies in to communicate. On top of all that many do not shield or protect themselves while using this tool to communicate. Please stay away from the Ouija board. Nothing good can come out of it.

 Always do your research and protect yourself when trying to do anything metaphysical. Remember, what you put out there comes back to you.

 Ok with all that said, on with Halloween.

I'm going to forgo all the Halloween lessons and lectures, what it is and what it's not and say enjoy.

I am however going to give you some tips to protect yourself, just in case you should need it.

 Arch Angel Michael is your best friend. Ask him for protection he will always give it. It's a simple way to protect yourself. Just say, Arch Angel Michael I'm in need of your help please protect me.

You can also ask your angels and guides to stand watch over your house at night until morning. Just ask. Dear angels and guides I would like an angel to stand guard over my house at every door and window, protecting me and my house from any energy that is not for my highest good.

White Light. White light is amazing. It is the light from the Divine. All you have to do is have an intent. If you can visualize yourself surrounded in white light you can shield yourself with white light to keep away any energy that is not for your highest good.

Stones can also help protect you. Any black stone is great for protection. Onyx is one of my favorites along with hematite.

Lavender, sage and palo santo wood are awesome for raising the vibrations of your space to help kick out energies that are not for your highest good. Smudging a room with sage or palo santo wood or using a, lavender oil to burn will do this for you.

With all that said you most likely think I don't like Halloween. I actually love Halloween. I love taking my kids out Trick or Treating and I love dressing up.

This weekend I was at the Eau Claire Best Western for a Holistic Event and then went to Mounds Theatre with friends to do a real haunted tour of the theater in St. Paul.

I always love doing events. It's a way from me to help those who are seeking help. With that said I'd like to take this moment to say, if you need help please ask or get a hold of me. I am open to barter sessions with people. And I will always try to answer any questions I can and at least point you in the right direction.

Hi All,

I am back from Sedona and want to talk about ghosts again since we're close to Halloween. But there will be a personal spin on this story since it happened while I was in AZ.

 First, I just want to put this factoid out there. Halloween is not the only time the veil between the worlds thin out. Christmas is a longer time the veil between worlds thins and it does so because of the old holiday 12th night. More about this, during Christmas. But yes there are 12 days the veil thins and loved ones can come through.

 Sedona:

I had a wonderful opportunity to go to Sedona with a friend who lives in Scottsdale. We drove to Bell Rock to hike and climb which was one of my favorite days while in AZ. The second day we drove to some sights in Sedona and did some shopping. Those two days I was fine. I felt great. Thursday night it started. I began to feel weepy and didn't want to alert my friend so I sucked it up and just continued my vacation as if nothing was wrong. Friday it got worse and Saturday by the time I got home I was so tired of trying to hold it all in I just cried. Sunday was my worst day so I called my healer. Yes I’m a healer, but the disadvantage to being a healer you can't always clear the crap away on your own. Just like I can't read for myself. So I went to my healer and the first thing she says is "When did you leave Sedona and when did you start feeling like you are going to break down and cry?"  I said Thursday we left and Thursday night I started feeling like something was wrong but Friday I started random tears here and there with it getting worse over the weekend. Well, she looked at me and said, "You brought back 2 dark entities with you. They are right here in your energy field feeding on the emotions you are refusing to let out and that you're pushing down."  So she cleared them and then I had homework of releasing and clearing myself. What did I learn?  When going to power places such as Sedona, Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock always shield!  So all you healers, psychics and what not learn from my mistake and remember to shield because things latch on to those of us that are light workers.

Ghost Story:  Tonto Natural Bridge State Park AZ.

Being a medium is not something one can turn on and off as easy as one thinks. I had told my friend I would do my best not to start any conversations with ghosts if we ran into any. I tried, I really did. And technically I didn't actually talk.

We were buying our pass to get into the park and had to do so in the Ranger Station. The cabin was there for many years. I'm sorry I don't know the history of the place. As he was purchasing our pass, I was walking around a common room looking at photos on the wall of people who founded the park. As I was walking and looking I felt the presence of a male around. He wasn't a threat and didn't mind me being there. When my friend was done we walked into the gift shop, a little room just off the common area. We were looking at all the trinkets when I felt a female around. She didn't like me being there. I thought if I ignore her, she will leave us alone and we can continue looking around in peace. Wrong!  Within a few seconds of feeling her around me, I ran for the door with my hand over my mouth because I was going to get sick. My friend followed and found me by the porch rail trying to ground and catch my breath and thinking please don't get sick. Again I didn't shield because, 1. I'm on vacation and 2. I'm not trying to find ghosts and communicate I'm there to hike and have fun! I told my friend what had happened and said I'm sorry I tried not to talk to ghosts on vacation, but I can't always control what happens when I walk into a place that is haunted. I felt better as soon as I was out the door. Apparently she didn't want me to find her and try to talk her into crossing over or talking about her at all. We walked to the truck and found a place to park. Our hike was beautiful. I did however feel a friendly female presence while on the hike. You may be able to see here in the photo.

This Photo I just discovered on my camera. When I took it, it was blurry but I took it because I felt like someone was standing there. Once I looked at it on my computer I could make out the outline of a woman standing in the middle of the photo against the wall. I'm not sure you can see her here.

So please learn from my forgetfulness and shield even when you think you may not need it.

I have suggested that he loosen his pants before standing, and then, when he stands with the help of his wife, they should fall to the floor.

The patient is tearful and crying constantly. She also appears to be depressed.

Discharge status: Alive but without permission.

The patient will need disposition, and therefore we will get Dr. Blank to dispose of him.

Healthy-appearing, decrepit 69 year old male, mentally alert but forgetful.

The patient has no past history of suicides.

The patient expired on the floor uneventfully.

Patient has left his white blood cells at another hospital.

Patient was becoming more demented with urinary frequency.

The patient's past medical history has been remarkably insignificant with only a 40 pound weight gain in the past three days.

She slipped on the ice and apparently her legs went in separate directions in early December.

The patient experienced sudden onset of severe shortness of breath with a picture of acute pulmonary oedema at home while having sex which gradually deteriorated in the emergency room.

Patient has chest pains if she lies on her left side for over a year.

He had a left-toe amputation one month ago. He also had a left-knee amputation last year.

By the time he was admitted, his rapid heart had stopped, and he was feeling much better.

The patient is a 79-year-old widow who no longer lives with her husband.

The patient refused an autopsy.

Many years ago the patient had frostbite of the right shoe.

The bugs that grew out of her urine were cultured in the Casualty and are not available. I WILL FIND THEM!!!

The patient left the hospital feeling much better except for her original complaints.

Today Wendy will tell us about Summerwind

Summerwind Mansion Northern Wisconsin

 Summerwind is rumored to be the most haunted property in Wisconsin. I had the opportunity to check out the ruines of Summerwind with the husband and wife team, Tony and Devon Bell out of Eau Claire, WI. They also brought along a team member Jessie. We all drove to Summerwind one cold rainy September day. When we turned the car down the driveway I began to feel flu like sick. I had to jump out of the car right away to ground and shake off the sick feeling.

As soon as I got out and took a few steps from the car, as the team walked away to find a place to set up for filming, I heard a male voice say "the deed is not here". So I called out to Devon and said "hey what does the deed isn't here mean?"  She  walked over very quickly and said there was a story about the original owner of the property having the deed to the property burried in the cement of the foundation of the mansion. Well it wasn't there. We continued to look around and Tony filmed different shots for their web series. As we walked to the basement I saw a little girl playing. She didn't say much and she didn't stay around long.

Later we went up to what was the patio and I had the opportunity to talk with a governess of the mansion. I'm not sure what her name was I’d have to dig up notes and look at the extent of the conversation. But she gave details of doors opening and closing, and a bad energy about the place. Then I had a quick vision on Native Americans and the land being important to them. I can't remember much so I'll check notes for next week and update everyone if you are all interested.   We had another friend of Tony's and Devon's join us via a kayak. He had come into possession of a rock from the foundation of the building. Everyone who had a turn having this rock had a string of bad luck or bad things happen to them so he was bringing the rock back to the house. He hoped it would break the bad luck.

When we first arrived I stood next to the fire place and could feel warmth. I then placed my hands over the fire like I was warming them and they did get warm. As I said it was a cold day that rained on and off. Devon said that when she stood next to the same fire place she felt someone tug on her necklace.

 Some people have reported seeing a mist above the trees while out there. We did not, course it was rainy. And others say there is a smell of oranges.

Ghosts—Are they real? Many of us are told as a child that, ghost are not real. Social conditioning teaches many of us that are in tune with the other-side to turn off our abilities as children and be "normal".

With the popularity of reality shows today and the ghost shows that are out there, I figured why not do a blog on ghosts. After all it is close to Halloween.

 The world of communicating with the other side started up again for me after the birth of my second son and my training in Reiki started. It was Christmas time, which I soon learned is a 12 day event, that the veil between the worlds thins out and it's easier for spirits to cross over to visit the living. It was during these 12 days I started to feel watched. Then I started hearing a favorite song of a friend of mine who had died that year. I made an appointment with my Reiki Master to see if my friend would show up so she could talk to him and figure out why he was around. Very personal story so I will just say ‘yes’ he did show up and he wanted me to know he was ok and I could stop worrying about him.

 A few years later after a few more experiences, I started to go out to rumored haunted places to see what I'd pick up. I've included pictures of the Bloody Bride Bridge in Stevens Point, WI located on Hwy 66. Walking down the path at this small park I felt like my friend and I were being watched. When I sat at the bench I asked him to start taking pictures as I began to channel Reiki energy and then it happened— I could feel someone sitting next to me. The feeling is more of a ‘pins and needles’ felling in my hands, or sometimes it’s just a knowing that someone is there. If you look closely in the photo there is a woman sitting just to my right. You will see the outline of a person and it looks like she has a cape over her shoulders.

 So I bet you're wondering what it's like to talk to ghosts. Ok, well it's different than talking with people. Have you ever watched Ghost Whisperer? It's kinda like that, but for me, I hear them in my head yet the information always comes from the right side. So if you watch, you can tell when I'm getting information because I'll tilt to the right to listen, but the words spoken are in my mind. When I'm with clients most of them like to hear something so I'll talk my half of the conversation out loud and then tell them what I am being told. Ghosts are people, so just like people, everyone is different in how they present themselves. Some will send a quick visual.

When I read for a group of women, they all wanted to contact a grandma that had recently passed to see how she was. The grandma came to me and flashed me a picture of her hands all knotted at the knuckles. I told the group she is showing me her hands and she had big knuckles like she had joint problems. She says her hands do not hurt anymore and they are pretty again like mine. Meaning, young looking. Then she flashed me my big mug that I make hot choc in. And I heard ‘tea’ when the women wanted to know about the grandfather. I also was shown a lake and fishing boat. I told the group what I saw and they started to laugh at me, because the grandfather loved to fish and his "tea" was a big mug of tea spiked with alcohol.

Most ghosts I run into just want someone to know they are there. I often give them the option of crossing over into the light, when I communicate with them so they can move on. Some choose to go and some don't. I've never had anything as of yet get thrown at me. I've walked into some places where the energy is very negative and I've just walked right back out. Why put yourself into a bad situation.

 My favorite ghosts are those that start talking while I'm on a tour of any kind. My first experience with this was at the Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee. Mrs. Pabst told me to correct the tour guide. Ok, so first rule is to pass on what a spirit says, but when one is in a group of 30 people, maybe wait til the end of the tour and do so privately.

 I also rented space for a short time at a spa in St. Paul. One night another Reiki Master and I were working together on a client. The room we were in was at the bottom of the stairs to the 3rd floor. As we were sending Reiki to our client, the door to the upstairs flung open and crashed into the wall. Now the spa was rumored to have 3 ghosts. I yelled up the stairs, “Hey trying to work here, if you do that again I'll ask the angels to help you leave. It wasn't funny you scared us all and we are trying to help this woman heal some issues.” I went back to our tiny room, asked the guides to guard the door and we began to relax into the energy again. Not more than 5 minutes later the door flew open again and crashed into the wall making us all jump. I'd had it with this wise guy. I yelled up “Do it again and I won't ask the angels to help, I'll ask them to cross you over and you won't be here anymore.” It stopped.

 We have a cabin in Hayward, not far from Capone's Hideout. In fact, I could walk there. My mom and I toured the year before it closed. As we walked up the driveway I could see the outline of a man in a suit with a gun in the lookout tower. As we continued through, two men followed me up the driveway taunting me. Both wore suits and hats and carried tommy guns. They kept calling me ‘Johnny's girl’ and wanted to know what Johnny's girl was doing there. I put up some white light around mom and I and we went about our tour.  We got some good pictures around the place, but we were not able to take pictures inside.

 I am leaving on retreat for AZ and will post pictures from there when I get back. I am going to visit the vortexes in Sedona.

Welcome back everyone! The move is over, although there's still much to get done, lol. I know many of you were disappointed there were no blog postings last week and I do apologize again. So, without any more delays, let's get back to seeing what Wendy has to say this week...

Ok let's get to it!

Reiki 101.

Attunements set Reiki apart from other healing systems such as Healing Touch or Quantum Touch.

What's an attunement?

Well during an attunement the Reiki Master will align your chakras and then after opening your aura, draw the symbols to the level of Reiki you are attuned to, into your aura.

Attunements can be done in many ways and can take from 5 minutes, to an hour depending on the Master. My first one took 45 minutes because the Master I was working with, took me on a meditative journey as she drew the symbols into my aura. When I attune someone it takes a few minutes. Reiki attunements can be given via distance or in person. Distance attunements can be given in real time or in Reiki Balls. I’ll leave Reiki Balls a topic for another day.

 Once you've been attuned you may start to feel in your hands, a sensation of heat, or pins and needles. When you feel this, Reiki is flowing and you should put your hands on yourself, a friend, a pet or family member, plants love energy too or just give it back to mother earth. As you get used to Reiki energy you will be able to turn it on and off by yourself. You can Reiki just about anything such as the food you eat, water, your pet, (my lab is a Reiki junkie, she loves Reiki). I, Reiki things around the house to keep the house energy clear. There is no limit.

 Another thing that may happen when you are attuned is, you may start to have psychic abilities. I did, but I had them as a child and turned them off as I grew older. They came back slowly once I was attuned.

During all this you should be drinking plenty of water every day to help the energy flow. It is suggested waiting 28 days to adjust to the energy before getting your next attunement.

 Some places on the web offer an all in one Reiki Master attunement. Some of these can be good and others bad. Do your research on the person offering these before you purchase. There are some links on my website for some Reiki Associations with directories of Reiki Masters you can check out.

I have basic prices but I flex with people’s needs and often trade attunements or sessions for other things.
